SHOWING POSSESSION WITH APOSTROPHE (‘)
5. If a singular noun takes s at the middle and at the end, use apostrophe alone: Jesus’ name. Moses’ shoes.
6. If a thing belongs to two or more persons, the last name takes the possession: Shina, Lanre and Gani’s initiative.
7. If different items are owned by different persons, each name shows its possession: Shina’s, Lanre’s and Gani’s initiatives.
8. If possession is shown after “someone else”, apostrophe and s come after “else”: Someone else’s book.
