Chief Executive Officer of Television Continental, Mr Andrew Hanlon, has said that no fewer than 250 staff of the station has been rendered jobless after arsonists burnt the station.
Over 500 direct employees of the station has also been struggling to work in a temporary accommodation put up by the company, Mr Andrew added.
The station’s Chief Executive officer made this known, Thursday, when the state Governor, Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu, visited the management and staff of the station.
Blackbox Nigeria reported earlier that some hoodlums had attacked the station after the #EndSARS protest turned violent.
Transmission gadgets, state-of-the-art studios, production rooms and operational vehicles of TVC, including cars of staff, were set ablaze.
