Eko Boys Thrash Living Spring 10-0 To Advance In GTB Master’s Cup

Eko Boys high school fired 10 past Living Spring high grade on match day 3 of the 2019 GTB Master’s Cup at CMS grammar school, Bariga.

The match kicked off at exactly 1:30pm and as predicted by the bookmakers the giants of Mushin started asking questions of the High graders defense from the first minute.

After squandering series of chances to draw first blood, the 2014 champions had to wait for a 14th minute penalty which was coolly converted by Abisogun Mojeed to go ahead.

Abisogun Mojeed was given another chance to increase the lead as team captain Ishola Basit was brough down in the 17 minute.

The striker made no mistake with his execution to increase his tally and the teams lead to 2 – 0.

Fetuga Azeez was played in through sumptuous assist by Ajikanle Basit to make it 3 – 0 in favor of The wine and white in the 23 minute.

Dominating both the possession and the game the ghetto lights from Labinjo added another goal with fetuga azeez lashing on a pretty assist from team captain Ishola Basit in the 25 minutes, taking the scores to 4 – 0.

In no time the students of CMS grammar school began to give Eko Boys the much needed boost to keep going and in no time another goal came in from Ajikanle Basit in the 28 minutes of the first half making the scores 5 – 0.

The second half started at exactly 2:15pm with Eko Boys in the mood to run riot, winning a first minute freekick while was fired blank.

Two substitution were made in quick succession with Ozonuwe Daniel and Fetuga Azeez leaving the frame for Adenuga Ezekiel and Abubakar Amodu.

Adenuga Ezekiel became somewhat of a Super sub and wild smile rented the face of Eko Boys coach as the young striker found the back of the net in the 7th minute of the second half with his face involvement in the game, making the scoreline more embarrassing at 6 – 0.

Eko Boys got another goal from Ademola Elijah in the 10 minute of the second half making the scores 7 – 0.

Eko Boys then substitutes captain Ishola Basit for Soetan Malik in the 11 minute of the game.

Eko Boys got another advantage in the 18th minute of the second half and Midfield maestro Ajikanle Basit made no mistake from a rebound that fell to him to register is second of the game taking the difference to 8 – 0.

Target man, Abisogun Mojeed has waited all night for his Hattrick and that wish was granted in the 20th minute when he guided home a well placed header, taking the score 9 – 0 in the process.

Centre back Ademola Elijah added the iceing on an already tasty cake to register his second of the afternoon and tenth of the game. Eko Boys high school 10 – 0 Livingspring high grade was how it ended on Thursday after in Bariga.
