The cleric sent condolences and offered prayers to the family of Pastor Enoch Adeboye of the Redeem Christian Church of God (RCCG) on the death of his son.

He added: “In this period of insecurity all over the country, we use this opportunity to pray for Nigeria and all her leaders. We advise our leaders to desist from the act of playing politics with the welfare of the nation and we advise citizens to also see their neighbors as themselves. The government should try their best in making provision for the citizens of the country.”

Khalifat Animashaun admonished Muslims to imbibe the lessons of the holy month and hold steadfast to the fear of the Almighty Allah.

“It is only the fear of the Almighty Allah that can save the nation from the perennial insecurity and the global pandemic that is ravaging the whole world.

“Let’s obey our leaders, love ourselves, shun dishonesty, avoid pride, avariceness, slough, envy, laziness in worship, hot-temperedness and filthy acts.”
