A reveller who was in the know said the EFCC raid was carried out to apprehend some internet fraudsters who just came back to the country from Kenya.
The reliable source said a birthday party organised by one of the alleged Yahoo-Yahoo boys identified as Lawal Lawal was taking place at the club when EFCC invaded the place and whisked away everyone connected to the birthday party.

“Those you wrote about that were freed are those not connected to the birthday party or Lawal Lawal. Lawal was the one doing birthday alongside two of his friends who just came back from Kenya a few weeks ago, ” he told BBN360.
When asked if any news has been heard about those arrested, he said, “they are now at EFCC office in Ikoyi”. Pressed further to confirm if all arrested have been confirmed to be internet fraudsters, he said he does not have that fact as of now.
