EFCC Grants VeryDarkMan Conditional Bail

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has granted administrative bail to Martins Innocent Otse, popularly known as VeryDarkMan.

known for his outspoken commentary on social and political issues, VeryDarkMan was arrested following an allegations of cyber stalking after he left GTBank for loan deduction complaints.

According to a statement released by the commission, it claimed that despite several invitations, VeryDarkMan refused to show up for questioning.

The EFCC emphasized that VeryDarkMan’s arrest was not related to his online activities criticizing the commission, but rather due to the serious allegations of financial malfeasance raised against him.

The commission stressed its commitment to investigating these allegations and urged the public to allow it to carry out its mandate without interference.

After fulfilling the bail conditions, Otse will be released.

The EFCC plans to conclude its investigation and file charges if necessary.
