The Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Abdulrasheed Bawa, on Thursday, reportedly slumped at a public event.
It was learnt that the incident happened when Bawa was delivering his goodwill message at the National Identity Day celebration held at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
The 41-year-old suddenly stopped speaking and asked to be excused before he walked off the stage.
He was later assisted to his seat where he slumped by other guests, including the Minister of Communications and Digital Economy, Isa Pantami.
The anti-graft agency boss was then rushed out of the event hall to receive medical treatment. Details about his health condition are yet to be known, as at time of filing this report.
