EFCC arrests 18 internet fraudsters’ in Lagos

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Lagos Zonal Office, arrested 18 suspected internet fraudsters in Lagos.

The Suspects, Abass Mukhtar, Enitan Adekunle, Olakunle Araoyinbo, Korede Adetule, Christmas Gabriel, Christmas Yole, Christmas Emmanuel, Harrison Obayogbono, Victor Kenneth, Adewale Musibau, Olawajuwon Shofuyi, Idris Abdulazees, Oyeku Adeoye, Omilana Adeleke, Okeke Chuck, Peters Olamide, Abayomi Jones and Usman Olalekan were all arrested during a sting operation in the early hours of Friday at three different locations in the Agbado area of Lagos state.

During the raid, about five suspects attempted to escape arrest by taking refuge inside the ceiling of their apartments. They were, however, immediately apprehended by operatives of the commission.

Blackbox Nigeria gathered that the Crimes Commission recovered charms, phones, laptops, and five cars: Hyundai, Sonata, Toyota Camry 2004 model, Toyota Camry 2007 model, Toyota Camry 1999 model and a Honda Pilot.
