Team Lagos has registered her name on the medals’ table in Cricket at the ongoing National Sports Festival BlackBox Nigeria can confirm.
With the results coming in, the male and female teams representing the Centre of Excellence won Bronze and Silver medals respectively in the
six-a-side event of the competition.
The 20th edition of the Sports Festival, tagged Edo 2020, after a series of postponements, kicked off on Sunday, April 4, with states of the federation competing for honours.
The other events in Cricket including the T20 commences tomorrow.
Team Lagos before their departure were charged by the Director General of the Lagos State Sports Commission, Toyin Gafaar Bolowotan to compete honourably while aiming for glory for the state which also hosted the National Sports Festival 9 years ago.
