The Edo State Skills Development Agency (Edo Jobs), in conjunction with Multichoice Nigeria, has recently trained 27 youths on entrepreneurship as well as installation of satellite dishes and other services.
The senior special assistant, to the Edo state Governor on job creation and skills development, Mrs Ukinebo Dare, stated that the Edo state government entered into the partnership with Multichoice Nigeria necessary to groom expertise in the services provided by the company in the state and also aid young people to develop entrepreneurship and requisite technical skills.
“We are supporting the 27 trainees, who are being trained as installers; with starter packs. This is so that they can get on with work immediately after the training. The trainers would work directly with multi choice Nigeria as their Installers and would be able to market the vices of the company in the state.
“We are focused on actualizing the Governor’s vision to create 200,000 jobs in the state with support from the private sector, for which the government will create a conducive environment to thrive. The partnership with Multi choice Nigeria is geared towards that goal” Mrs. Ukinebo said.
