Men of the Nigerian Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) have arrested Marlian pop stars, Mohbad and Zinolesky.
The operatives allegedly broke into the musicians’ home in the Lekki district of Lagos State in the early hours of Thursday morning, according to Naija News.
According to eyewitnesses, the officials carried out the arrest without any search warrants and allegedly manhandled the Marlian Music artists.
In now-viral videos, the NDLEA officers were seen hitting the musician with clubs and shooting into the air, forcing them into waiting trucks.
Report has it that over ten people have been arrested alongside both talented acts. The reason for the invasion and arrest is yet to be disclosed at the time of filing this report.
Oniyide Azeez (Zinoleesky) and Ilerioluwa Oladimeji (Mohbad) are linked to Azeez Fashola (Naira Marley), who is being investigated by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) on fraud accusations.
Recall that in January fast-rising skit maker, Sunday Joshua better known as De General was arrested by men of the anti-drug agency.
The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) later confirmed his arrest, saying he was detained over alleged possession of illicit drugs. The funnyman would later regain his freedom after a couple of days.
