Aaron Tebbutt, a football pundit, has urged Wilfred Ndidi not to consider a move to Barcelona.
The advice is coming after reports show that Ndidi has been linked with a move to the LaLiga champions next summer.
It was learnt that the 26-year-old is into the final few months of his contract at the King Power Stadium and the midfielder can negotiate with a foreign club from January.
Meanwhile, Tebbutt told Ndidi to extend his stay at Leicester City instead of joining Barcelona.
“If Ndidi has a strong campaign, he will leave his club with no option but to offer him a new contract before he departs for free,” he wrote on Football League World.
”If that is the case, the 26-year-old should certainly put pen to paper, as Leicester are looking increasingly likely to be returning to the promised land of the Premier League next season.
“Turning down a club with as much history as Barcelona would be an incredibly tough decision, but ultimately Ndidi should enjoy a promotion campaign to the Premier League and then continue life in the top flight at the King Power Stadium.”
