Speaker of the House of Representatives, Hon Yakubu Dogara have stood up to the challenge of Governor of Kaduna State, Nasir el-Rufai as he moments ago published his pay-slips of six months showing his basic salaries.
The lawyer turn lawmaker made the revelation via his verified Twitter account.
The six months pay-slips published comprises of October-December of 2016 and Jan-March of 2017.
The pay-slips of October, November and December showed that the Speaker received net pay of N346,577.87 (Basic- N206,425.83 + Constituency- N175,461.96 + Recess- N20,642.58 = N402,530.37 – Pay As You Earn N55,952.50 as deductions).
But some slight changes took event from February as additional deduction was included in the pay slips.. See the break down below…

As at the time of filing this report, some Nigerians have however reacted to the release of the Speaker as it was noted that his pay slip do not show his entire earnings as a lawmaker, that he should rather publish the budget of the House of Representatives for 2015 and 2016 periods.
