“I Am Here For Divine Mandate”, ADC Candidate Says As He Signs Peace Accord In Ikorodu

The candidate of the African Democratic Congress, ADC for Ikorodu Federal Constituency at the House of Representatives in the forthcoming February 16th election, Hon. Arinze Chris Segun Emelayo has joined a host of other aspirant in  signing the Youth Against Violence Accord (YAVA) popularly known as peace accord organised by the #NotTooYoungToRun, NTYTR, Lagos Chapter, Ikorodu division.

 

The aspirant signed the dotted lines of the deal after he received a delegation of the NTYTR led by Comrade Bisiriyu on Wednesday 16th January 2019, who while inviting the aspirants to the forthcoming debate organised by the team reiterated that the pact was necessary to ensure a peaceful poll.

 

Hon. Arinze Chris Emelayo while introducing himself as part of the team, expressed delight to meet with young minds and he encouraged the team not to relent in actualizing its mission and vision as he is also part of them.

 

” I have always been me a member of NTYTR even at the federal level. I am a man of peace. I am not a politician. I am here for divine mandate.” He explained.

 

The House of Representatives hopeful, further expressed that as an entrepreneur with vast experience in farming and production of paints, he is set to bribg about developmental projects if given the mandate to represent the people.

 

One will recall that few weeks ago, the governorship aspirant of both the PDP and APC in Lagos State  signed the deal. While legislative wise in Ikorodu, candidates of the ruling APC, PDP, AD, and ADC have all appended their signatures to the peace accord.
