After Denigrating Buhari On BBC, Obasanjo Attends National Council of State Meeting

One would have taught that all cords connecting the former president of Nigeria, President Olusegun Obasanjo and current President ,Muhammadu  Buhari was  totally severed yesterday after Obasanjo’s interview with BBC Yoruba calling to question Buhari’s ability to rule the country again until the former showed up at the National Council of State Meeting held at the State House in Abuja today January 22nd 2019.

 

President Buhari presided over the meeting after a warm handshake with a smile extended to the former president as if nothing had transpired between them.

 

The meeting also had in attendance notable Nigerian leaders which include, Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, Abdulsalam Abubarker and the Senate President, Bukola Saraki.

 

On will recall that ex-president Olusegun Obasanjo yesterday Monday 21st January 2018 chided President Muhammadu Buhari, noting that he (Buhari) is sick in the body, mind and soul.

In his interview with BBC Yoruba, Obasanjo opined, “Buhari has health issues in his body, mind and soul. We should implore him to quit politics. He should go and rest. He has done his best. “We should give someone else a chance. Some people usually ask me, if the person I support fails them. Obasanjo will face trial If Buhari wants – Oshiomhole “But my honest reply has always been that such is the beauty of democracy, if he fails, he will be replaced too”
