Dele Oshinowo Donates Two Patrol Vehicles To Police In Agboyi-Ketu

 

Agboyi-Ketu LCDA under the chairmanship of Mayor Dele Oshinowo today presented two operational cars to the Nigerian Police.

In the presence of some top council officials, the operational vehicles were handed over to the two police divisions by the council chairman during a brief ceremony at the council headquarters.

The two police divisions are Owode-Onirin and Alapere Divisions respectively.

Speaking during the handover ceremony, the council chairman said the gesture was to provide some tools necessary for adequate monitoring and securing of lives and property.

Mayor Dele further charged the arrowheads of the police divisions in the LCDA to ensure that the vehicles are being used for the sole purpose of keeping the LCDA safe, and not for illegal activities.

In their separate remarks, the Divisional Police Officers of the two divisions, SP Emmanuel Adewunmi (Owode-Onirin Division) and SP Gregory Ipkhia (Alapere Division) respectively, promised that the vehicle would be properly utilized to combat criminal activities in the LCDA.
