BlackBox Nigeria gathered that the bus, a LAGBUS which was filled to capacity bursted into flames and started burning at Otedola Bridge, Berger area of Lagos State.
BBN also gathered that the fire started due to an incident of over heating of the vehicle which as coming from the camp ground of the church on Lagos-Ibadan Expressway.
Eyewitnesses at the scene revealed to press that the worshippers who quickly noticed the flames started scampering for their lives as they made ways from the vehicles before it finally started burning.
Firemen from the Lagos State Fire Service were reported to have gotten to the scene on time as officials of the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA) were also on hand to assist the worshipers.
It was also revealed that no life was lost in the fire incident as all passengers got off the bus before it went into flames.
