Nigerian singer, Davido is set to perform at the closing ceremony of the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
This was made known by Hong Kong businessman, Stephen Hung who shared the news via his Instagram story.
He claimed that Davido had officially announced that he would close the World Cup ceremony.
Sharing a picture of the singer, the business man wrote, “So happy my bro @davido confirmed he will perform at the world cup Qatar closing ceremony, can’t wait to see him there.”
Davido will perform the Qatar World Cup song “Hayya Hayya (Happy Together)” with Trinidadian singer Cardona and Qatari singer Aisha during the closing ceremony, which is scheduled for Sunday.
Recall that the singer was to perform at the opening ceremony of the World Cup but could not make it due to the loss of his son, Ifeanyi Adeleke his three-year-old son who drowned in his swimming pool.
