David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido has begun to search for another opportunity to get his first Grammys after he lost all his three nominations at the year’s edition of the prestigious music awards.
Davido was earlier nominated in three categories: Best Global Music Performance, Best Global Music Album and Best African Music Performance, however, he lost all three on Sunday night during the ceremony.
Just like Davido, no other Nigerian artistes, who were nominated, got the award.
Burnaboy, who performed at the Grammys yesterday night also lost his nomination. Although, this is not his first time of winning the Grammys, as his album “Twice as Tall” won the award in 2021.
Other three Nigerian artistes who got disappointed were Olamide, Ayra Starr and Asake.
South Africa’s Tyla’s hit song, “Water”, made her win her first Grammys Award as she won the Best Global Music Performance category at the Grammys.
