By Data Collection: we will use NIN for 2020 UTME registration, JAMB

The Registrar of the Joint Admission Matriculation Board, Professor Is-haq Oloyede has stated that the National Identity Number issued by the National Identity Management Commission will be used for the 2020 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) conduct.
The professor stated this when the Director of the Bureau of Public Service Reforms, Mr Dasuki Arabi paid him a visit as the board’s headquarters in Abuja.
“The introduction of NIN to UTME, which is in line with the directive of the Federal Government that NIMC should be the basic data collection center will guard against all forms of registration infractions.
“The board is at the moment discussing with the NIMC to work out the grey areas for seamless implementation in the next exercise”, Prof Oloyede said.
