Popular nightlife entrepreneur and socialite, Cubana Chief Priest, has set social media abuzz after claiming that Afrobeats superstar Davido has emerged as a winner at the Grammy Awards.
In a post shared on his social media page, Cubana Chief Priest announced that he had received “internal confirmation” that the award-winning singer was on the Grammys winners list for ‘Best African Music Performance’.
Expressing excitement and gratitude, he wrote: “I just got some internal confirmation that Davido is on the Grammy winners list. 30BG we finally did it!!!!!!!! Thank you Jesus.”
The statement immediately ignited widespread celebration among members of the 30 Billion Gang (30BG) and fans of Nigerian music, with many flooding social media with congratulatory messages, prayers, and emotional reactions.
However, as of the time of filing this report, the Recording Academy has yet to officially release the full list of winners, and neither Davido nor his management team has confirmed the claim.
The development has therefore been greeted with both excitement and cautious optimism by fans and industry observers.
