By Crowd Welcome Late Lawmaker, Osinowo In Ijebu Ode (VIDEO)
A handful of people received the remains of Lagos East lawmaker, late Senator Dzikrullah Adebayo Osinowo.
The lawmaker’s death was confirmed earlier on Monday. It was reported that he died after a brief battle with illness related to COVID19 and was receiving treatment at the intensive care unit of a private hospital in Lagos.
BlackBox Nigeria gathered that the lawmaker’s body left Lagos earlier in the day in an ambulance belonging to the Ikoyi/Obalende LCDA which was used to transport it to his native town, Ijebu Ode, Ogun State for burial purposes, according to Islamic rites.
BlackBox Nigeria further gathered that the lawmaker’s body arrived his hometown where he was then laid to rest.
It will be recalled that the death of the lawmaker hit the general public on Monday after news filtered in that he died due to complications related to COVID19. He was receiving treatment at a private facility in Lagos until his death.
