The youths of the All Progressives Congress, Alimosho LGA, has expressed their displeasure in the party’s leadership at a meeting organised by Alimosho’s APC Apex Leader, Alhaji Abdullahi Enilolobo, inside his residence.
The meeting which was initially convened to pacify them unfortunately turned out to be an embarrassing moment for the organisers as these youths, from Igando, Ikotun, Egbe-Idimu and Alimosho area of Alimosho Federal Constitituency, emphatically told the party leadership that they’ve had enough of poor representation and self-serving leadership: ‘ENOUGH IS ENOUGH; OTOGE ALIMOSHO!’
A statement credited to one of the youths popularly known as SURE BOY stated that it’s time “to allow the son of the soil to hold political office in Alimosho because most of those that were imposed on the people of Alimosho, especially Hon. Bisi Yussuf, Hon. Kehinde Joseph, Hon. Adebanjo aka Eyes Open have all disappointed us. Even Senator Olamilekan Adeola Solomon aka YAYI have abandoned us in Alimosho.”
Not only that, he challenged Alhaji Enilolobo to declare “what his leadership has done to empower the youths and women of Alimosho.” In his opinion, “they (the party’s leadership and representatives) are just busy accumulating wealths at the detriment of the people.”
At the same meeting, and in the presence of Hon Kehinde Joseph, Honourable Member representing Alimosho Constitituency 02 at the Lagos State House of Assembly and the Executive Chairman of Alimosho LGA, Hon. Jelili, the youths collectively told the gathering that Prince Idris Balogun aka Oluomo Kafata and Alhaji Abiodun Ejibadero have been the ones that always care for them and their families in times of challenges, thus they deemed it necessary to support Oluomo Kafata for Federal House of Representatives in 2023.
The exchanges got intense that Hon. Kehinde Joseph could no longer endure the abuses from the youths present, he stormed out of the venue and drove off in annoyance as shown in the video below. Also, in a rather shocking manner, the youths rejected the #50,000 transport fare given to them by Alhaji Abdullahi Enilolobo and left for their various homes.
