Crisis Looms In Adamawa APC As Party Postpones Congress

Crisis may be looming in Adamawa APC as the Congress committee has been forced to reschedule the state’sCongress to Sunday 6th as against the earlier Saturday 5th scheduled date, a source told BlackBox Nigeria.

Chairman of the seven men congress committee, Musa Mahmud announced that ward congress in Adamawa was postponed to Sunday 6th May by 1pm.

It was gathered that a group led by the former SGF Babachir David Lawal had stormed APC Secretariat on Friday along with two senators, Aziz Nyako, Abubakar MoAllahyidi, Mallam Nuhu Ribadu and a host of others to demand fair congress.

The group was at the Secretariat to protest what they described as an attempt to hijack the Congress.

The bone of contention was that aspiring party officials from the group led by the ex-SGF was initially denied forms for the context ahead of tommorow’s Ward congress.
