COVID19: Succor For GTBank Customers As Bank Stops All Loans Repayment
Management of the Guaranty Trust Bank has announced a moratorium on repayments of all business loans as a way to help cushion the effects of Lockdown imposed by the Federal government due to the ongoing battle with the COVID19 pandemic.
In a communique made available to BlackBox Nigeria, the Bank disclosed that it decided to put a hold on all repayments on SME loans and giving a 90-day moratorium for small scale entrepreneurs which have been hit by lockdown of activities in several parts of the country, such as Lagos, Federal Capital Territory (Abuja), Ogun, Delta, Oyo and Rivers States.
The communique also added that repayments for loans such as Food Industry Credit, Fashion Industry Credit and Quick Credit for Business have been placed on hold for the period of 90 days after which repayment will be continued.
As at the time of filing this report, 17 new cases has been confirmed by the Nigeria Centre for Diseases and Control. 8 of the cases were recorded in Lagos, 3 in Kastina and 2 in FCT Abuja.
While 1 case each was recorded in Kaduna and Ondo, Anambra recorded its index case.
Last update uploaded by the NCDC shows that total confirmed cases are now 305, just as 58 persons have been discharged and 7 deaths recorded so far.
