Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu has debunked reports of an imposed curfew in Lagos State, scheduled to commence Sunday, 29.
This was confirmed on the Twitter handle of the Lagos State Government, where they wrote
“Disclaimer: No curfew in Lagos.
“Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu dropped the idea of imposing a curfew in the state, meant to allow the fumigation exercise of public space.
“Relying on experts’ advice, the Governor said the disinfectant is nontoxic, noting that the exercise has commenced already.”
The Lagos State Governor, in a tweet, had earlier confirmed the possession of over 200 disinfecting machines.
“I am pleased to note that we have taken possession of over 200 disinfecting machines, and we will be disinfecting all major highways, bus stops, markets and other public areas.
“If there is need for curfew, government will not hesitate to impose it.” He wrote.
