The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has reported 574 new cases of COVID-19 in the country, as the second wave of the pandemic lingers on.
This development brings the total number of confirmed infections in the country to 148,296.
The public health agency disclosed this in a tweet on Tuesday night.
So far, the NCDC has discharged 124,483 patients who were treated and recovered from the virus and recorded 1,777 COVID-19 related deaths.
