Lagos State has recorded 2 more #COVID19 related deaths – Prof Akin Abayomi.
The Lagos State Commissioner for Health, while confirming this in a Tweet on Thursday said :
“74 new #COVID19 cases have been confirmed in Lagos as at Wednesday, 22nd of April, 2020, the cases have risen to 512 in the state.
“Lagos State has also recorded 2 more #COVID19 related deaths, bringing the total #COVID19 related deaths to 18 in the state.”
In other news, 91 new cases of #COVID19 have been reported; bringing the total number of confirmed cases in country to 873. The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control said, Wednesday.
The confirmed cases and their respective states are ; 74 in Lagos, 5 in Katsina, 4 in Ogun, 2 in Delta, 2 in Edo, 1 in Kwara, 1 in Oyo, 1 in FCT, and 1 in Adamawa.
NCDC, while confirming this in a Tweet, Wednesday, said:
“As at 11:25 pm 22nd April there are 873 confirmed cases of #COVID19 reported in Nigeria with 197 discharges and 28 deaths.
