The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has reported 1,056 new cases of COVID-19 in the country, as the second wave of the pandemic lingers on.
This development brings the total number of confirmed infections in the country to 141,447.
In a tweet on Tuesday night, the public health agency disclosed that so far, it has recorded 115,755 recoveries and 1,694 COVID-19 related deaths.

“Our discharges today includes 478 community recoveries in Lagos State managed in line with guidelines,” it added.
