The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has reported 571 new cases of COVID-19, bringing the total number of confirmed infections in the country to 153,187.
In a tweet on Tuesday night, the public health agency disclosed that it has recorded 129,943 recoveries and 1,874 COVID-19 related deaths so far.
Lagos State, the epicentre of the outbreak has 170 new cases, as the second wave of the pandemic lingers on.
