COVID-19 : Lagos discharges 42 patients

Lagos State Health Ministry, Friday, has announced the recoveries of 42 coronavirus patients.

The state Health Ministry, while making the disclosure via Twitter, said the patients comprising 20 females and 22 males were discharged from three of its isolation centres, adding that the number of discharged patients had risen to 448.

“42 more COVID-19 patients; 20 females and 22 males; all Nigerians have been discharged from our isolation facilities at Onikan, Eti-Osa (LandMark) and Lekki to reunite with the society.

“The patients; 2 from Onikan, 32 from Eti-Osa (LandMark) and 8 from Lekki Isolation Centres have fully recovered and tested negative twice consecutively to COVID-19.

“With this, the number of patients successfully managed and discharged in Lagos has risen to 448,” the health ministry wrote.
