COVID-19 : Lagos discharges 15 patients,  total discharges now 623

The Lagos State Government, Sunday, announced the recovery and discharge of 15 COVID-19 patients after testing negative twice for the virus.

Babajide Sanwo-Olu, while making the disclosure via a Tweet stated that those discharged comprised nine females and six males, noting that with the 15 recently discharged COVID-19 patients, a total of 623 patients have recovered in the state.

“Good people of Lagos, 15 more COVID19Lagos patients; nine females and six males, all Nigerians have been discharged from our Yaba, Agidingbi and LUTH Isolation facilities to reunite with the society.

“The patients, nine from the Mainland Infectious Disease Hospital, Yaba, five from the Lagos University Teaching Hospital and one from Agidingbi isolation centres were discharged having fully recovered and tested negative to COVID-19 in two consecutive readings.

“This brings to 623 the number of COVID-19 confirmed cases that have been successfully managed and discharged in Lagos.” the governor wrote.
