The Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Friday directed all its missions abroad to compile lists of willing nationals who wants to return to Nigeria.
Abike Dabiri-Erewa, Chairman of Nigerians in Diaspora Commission, stated that the development was sequel to requests made by Nigerians stranded abroad because of the lockdown caused by the novel COVID-19 pandemic, adding that the prospective evacuees will shoulder the finances and will be made to go through compulsory isolation.
The Head Media and Public Relations Unit, NIDCOM, Abdur-Rahman Balogun, in a statement, disclosed that interested citizens should inform the embassy in their respective country of residence
