Court stops jimoh fabiyi from parading himself as Aholu of Ikoga pending the determination of court case

Badagry high court today stopped Jimoh Fabiyi From parading himself as the new Aholu of Ikoga- Zebbe in Badagry. This is as a result of the ongoing disputes amongst the ruling houses over which of the houses should produce the new Aholu.

According to information made available to BlackBox Nigeria by a reliable source, the kingship should revolve around three main ruling houses namely Savi Yanwhegameh, Savi Athanode and Savi Toyi.

Following today’s ruling, Justice Shonike said all parties concerned should maintain their status quo since the case is in court, meaning nobody can parade himself as king over the disputed throne hence the law will take its full force on such person.

It was earlier reported that the executive chairman of Badagry Local government, Hon. Onilude Segun Adeniran in a post on Facebook had on July 29,2020, installed Jimoh Fabiyi as Aholu of Ikoga- Zebbe following the approval of Lagos State government, making him the fourth to be so installed by Onilude’s administration against an existing court order, thus, making the other ruling houses call for justice as it is believed that Fabiyi usurped the throne through his connections to the local government .
