Lagos State All Progressives Congress (APC) is set to announce its flagbearer for the positions of Lagos East senatorial district and Kosofe Constituency 2 in the by-elections scheduled for October 31, 2020 on Thursday, September 3, 2020.
The two seats became vacant, following the death of Senator Bayo Osinowo and Honourable Tunde Braimoh due to COVID-19 related complications.
According to reliable sources from the All Progressives Congress, Lagos State Chapter would be holding its primary elections on Thursday, 3rd September, 2020.
The source told BlackBox Nigeria that the primary might be more of affirmation as there has already been consensus candidates in the person of Tokunbo Abiru former Managing Director of Polaris Bank, for Lagos East Senatorial District and Femi Saheed for the Kosofe Constituency 2.
