While expressing his condolence to the family of the bereaved in a community social media platform, Ibrahym Mojeed-Sanni quoted passages from both the Qur’an and Bible to express that death is inevitable even though no one prays to die young. He finally regarded death as beyond the control of mortals.
However, Ademuyiwa Tajudeen Bamimosu urged well-meaning community members to handle the case with utmost seriousness and proceed to take legal actions against Ikeja Electricity Distribution Company.
“Let’s handle this case with all sense of seriousness, or else we may just be talking into deaf ears. Let us approach members of the Ikorodu branch of Nigeria Bar Association, let’s get them to write the Ikeja Electricity Distribution Company, if they fail to comply, then we will drag them to court. That will serve as their social service to the community where they practice. Let us all stand up to it. Enough is enough. If we don’t do it, who will? They cannot go away from this.” He charged.
In similar reaction, Sunkanmi Odugbefun expressed dissatisfaction over the proposed ₦200, 000 offered to the family as compensation to the family members by Ikeja Disco.
