By An early morning struck at popular Ojuelegba bridge earlier Tuesday April 18th when a commercial bus ascending the bridge on Funsho Williams Avenue killing five passengers as it burnt on the spot.
According to an eyewitness account who tipped The Gazelle News, the bus popularly called ‘Danfo” somersaulted as a result of the driver loosing control while on speed.
After tumbling severally, it busted into flames trapping five people which were unable to escaped from before it started burning.
As at the time of filing this report, officials of the Lagos State Fire Service, Lagos State Emergency Management Authority (LASEMA), LASTMA and commuters in the area are evacuating the victims of the firs and clearing the traffic to prevent a logjam.
