Romoke Adunbarin Lasisi has been celebrated online after graduating with First-Class Honours in Mathematics from the University of Ilorin.
In a post shared via her Twitter handle (@DatGirlAdun), Romoke listed her academic and professional milestones, highlighting her passion for data science.
She also revealed her roles as a volunteer tutor for Python-based data analysis in her department, co-founder and data tutor at Emerging Minds Foundation, and a tutor at the CSA Africa Workshop hosted by the University of Nairobi.
The screenshot from the UNILORIN student portal confirms her graduation status, with a congratulatory note recognizing her outstanding academic achievement in the 2024/2025 session.
In a tweet shared back in April 2021, she posted photos of herself in a cleaner’s uniform, proudly addressing a colleague who questioned her confidence in posting such images.
“That’s who I am presently, but I won’t be forever”, she wrote.
Her post gained traction, with thousands of Nigerians commending her courage.
Now, four years later, that bold belief has become a reality.
Her recent graduation image confirmed that one’s background of present circumstances do not define their future.
