By From Church Vigil To Hospital As Badoo Strikes In Ikorodu Again
The last is yet to be heard about the heinous activities of the dreaded Badoo gang as suspected members of the group attacked a Cherubim and Seraphim Church, Okin parish, located in Igbo Agbowa, Ibeshe in Ikorodu.
It was gathered that this attack was carried out in the Church in Lagos before another Church was attacked in similar gruesome manner in Ozubulu area of Anambra State.
According to account given by an eyewitness, the members of the Badoo group had mingled with other worshipers who were at the church on Saturday evening for a vigil service and attacked their victim in the early hours of Sunday using a stone, which is a known tool of the ritual group.
Reports gathered that the act was carried out around 3am Sunday morning after the victim gave a loud cry when her head was smashed with the stone which alerted other worshipers who then chased the suspected criminals.
It was gathered that one of the three suspects was apprehended while the others escaped. As at the time of filing this report, the victim is reported to be receiving treatment in the hospital.
