Ekiti-based chef, Adeparusi Dammy, has shattered celebrity chef Hilda Baci’s 100-hour cooking record during a grueling 120-hour cook-a-thon challenge, securing a place in the Guinness World Records.
Dammy displayed unwavering determination as she prepared various meals, including eba, beans with corn, amala, pounded yam, and rice. On Monday night, she reached the milestone of 100 hours, marking a remarkable achievement.
A video circulating online captured the ecstatic celebrations of her supporters and kitchen assistant in response to this extraordinary feat.
In the midst of the excitement, a man named Ayodeji Arojo made a generous offer to Chef Dammy. Taking to his Facebook account on Monday, Arojo announced that he would arrange a two-week cooking tour for her in the United States.
Accompanying his announcement were pictures of Chef Dammy during the marathon cooking session, and he expressed his eagerness for her to embark on this new journey. The post read, “Chef Dammy will be invited for a 2-week cook tour in the United States. I can’t wait for her to start the process! Yayyyyyyy.”
