By Chairman Of Ikorodu North, Banjo Inaugurates Councillors
Newly elected Chairman of Ikorodu North, Hon Adeola Adebisi Banjo earlier on Thursday inaugurated the Councillors of the Local Council Development Area after the programme was declared opened by the Chief Imam of the area.
Hon Banjo urged the Councillors to carry out their duties professionally and tailor it alongside the agenda of the New Era Administrative. He warned them against working for personal interests.
The Councilors inaugurated were, Babatunde A. Balogun (Ward E1), Olutusin Adeleke (Ward E2), Adeyemi Adeniran (Ward E3), Balikeez Aderoju (Ward E4), Adekoya Ayo Abiodun (Ward B3). They took their Oaths of office before the Clerk of the House, Mr Edward Odukomaya who administered the exercise.
They all later moved to the Chamber were principal officers were appointed. Mrs Adekoya Abiodun (Ward B3) emerged as the House Leader while Mr Ambali (Ward E2) emerged as the Deputy House Leader.
Top Ikorodu North politicians and Party chieftains all graced the groundbreaking event. In attendance were, Alhaji Akibu Adewunmi, Mrs. Toyin Salau JP; Chairperson Ikorodu North LGA, Hon. Mojeed; Vice Chairman, APC Ikorodu North LGA, Hon. Haruna Ola-Balogun, Former Vice Chairman, Ikorodu North LCDA, Alhaji Odidi, Alhaja Shukurat Okeowo, Mohamed Shakirudeen Okeowo, Mr Clement Adubi, Gen. Sec., Mandate Group, Ward Chairmen, Women leaders, Abolore Ogunbajo; Youth Leader and the Party faithfuls.
