A shocking tale of greed, deception, and murder has unfolded in Lagos State, as a shepherd has been arrested in connection with the disappearance and murder of a 28-year-old graduate of Lagos State University (LASU).

Ogubode Quadri Adedamola, the CEO of Horlar Edu Consultancy, was declared missing on January 16. His girlfriend reported that he had told her he was in front of the CCC ILERI OLUWA PARISH, LASU 2, and would call her back later.

However, when police investigated, they discovered that Adedamola’s bank account had been drained of #1.5m on the day he went missing.

Further investigation revealed that some of the funds had been transferred to the bank account of the shepherd, Sup. Evang. Whepetoji Babaniyeh.

When questioned, the shepherd initially denied any involvement in Adedamola’s disappearance but later claimed the money was for Thanksgiving.

However, evidence suggested otherwise, leading to his detention.

The police discovered Adedamola’s body buried near the church premises, allegedly under the supervision of the shepherd. A gun and axe were also recovered from the shepherd.

The Lagos State Police Command has confirmed the arrest of the shepherd and has launched a full-scale investigation into the murder.

This shocking incident has sent shockwaves through the community, with many calling for justice to be served.

The family of the deceased has demanded a thorough investigation and prosecution of those responsible.
