By Segun Awosanya, The brain behind the #EndSARS advocacy that engulfed the social media for the better part of 2018 has urged Nigerians to still remain careful and vigilant of the operations of the reformed SARS announced by the president that now carries the nomenclature ‘F-SARs’ .
Segun on his popular Twitter handle ‘@Segalink’ warns Nigerians against peddling the information that SARS (FSARS) and other special squad of the Nigerian Police Force has truly been reformed which is a far cry from what the #EndSARS Movement clamoured for.
“Kindly note and avoid disinformation. SARS (FSARS), SAKS & SACS are all under probation based on the national outcry by the #EndSARS #ReformPoliceNG Movement. They’ve not been reformed neither did we clamour for their reformation but their disbandment & Reformation of the Police.” His Tweet reads.
He further expressed his displeasure on the way the police is currently structured especially from its leadership hierarchy.
