A car wash operated have been arrested for killing his neighbour because he locked the apartment’s door.
According to the police, one Sheriff Balogun, 35 years old, who lives on No 32 Ola street, Itire, Lagos, murdered a co-tenent, Peter Elebo, over when to locked gate.
The matter was reported by the deceased daughter, Faith Elebo on January 11, 2020, at Itire Police Station.
It was reported that Sherif Balogun pushed down Peter Elebo who started vomiting blood and died on the spot.
Homicide detectives led by the Divisional Police Officer Itire, SP Barkfur Kromkyes, subsequently visited the scene to evacuated the deceased to the mortuary for autopsy.
According to Lagos State, Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Bala Elkana, the suspect has been arrested and transferred to State Criminal Investigation Department, Yaba for discreet investigation and prosecution.
