By Calabar man sells 2-year-old son for N150,000
In what can be described as rather unfortunate, a certain Abraham Udoh has been nabbed for selling his two year old son for a ridiculous N150,000.
Abraham confessed to the crime after he was reported to the police by his troubled wife, Esther who disclosed that the baby was sold without her consent. The culprit who is 52 years old however reveals that he sold the child to a woman residing in Uyo, Akwa-Ibom.
BlackBox Nigeria also gathered that on arrest, N130,000 out of the money was found on him while he couldn’t account for the remaining 20,000.
In his confessional statement, Abraham Udoh who was arrested on July 24 disclosed that he committed the crime because of his need for money. He also revealed that the child was the last of his six children.
“Actually, I sold the child because I needed some money. I have six children and I am really sorry for not telling my wife about it,” he said.
The Police also paraded some robbery suspects arrested in Cross River state.
