The Federal Government has appointed Shehu Dikko as Chairman of the National Sports Commission.
This development is part of the President cabinet reshuffle, which saw Senator John Owan Enoh, former Minister of Sports Development, reassigned to Minister of State for Trade and Investment Industry.
This decision comes as part of the Federal Government’s announcement on Wednesday to replace the Ministry of Sports Development with the National Sports Commission.
Dikko’s appointment marks the first under this newly restructured framework. He previously served as a consultant for the Nigerian House of Representatives Sports committee.
