These are interesting times for Afrobeats and Nigerian music in general as self-acclaimed African giant, Burna Boy is set to perform at the upcoming Grammy award.
Billed for Sunday, February 4th at the Crypto.com arena in Los Angeles, Burna Boy will be joining a host of other stars to thrill the audience.
Burna Boy whose performance at the final of the 2023 UEFA Champions League kept many talking will be performing at the 66th Grammys alongside Travis Scott and Luke Combs.
Burna Boy who is nominated in four categories including Best Global Album and Best African Music Performance asides entertaining the 20,000 capacity will also be hoping to add to his two Grammy awards he currently posses.
Nigerian stars, Davido, Asake and Olamide are some of the country’s talents who would also be hoping to pick up their first Gamophone.
South African comedian and media personality, Trevor Noah will be hosting the 66th Grammys.
