For Nigerian music star, Damini Ogulu popularly known as Burna Boy, there are no limits as he continues to etch his golden name in the history books.
On Thursday night, the Grammy-winning singer again made history after he became the Nigerian act to headline at the iconic Madison Square Garden (MSG) in New York, United States. Not only did the self-styled ‘African Giant’ attain the feat, he also sold out his wildly anticipated show tagged “One Night In Space” at the famed arena which boasts of a capacity of 20,789.
The ever-energenetic Burna Boy gave an electrifying live performance to the delight of the cheering crowd, serving them his brilliant stage artistry at the event livestreamed on YouTube.
With the assitance of guest acts such as legendary rapper Busta Rhymes and Senegal’s Youssou N’Dour, the singer created magic on stage as he performed his hit chart-topping songs and a single off his forthcoming album.
This feat follows the success of Burna Boy’s sold out international shows at London’s O2 Arena, Paris’ Accor Arena, Amsterdam’s Ziggo Dome and more venues around the globe, as part of his 2021 Space Drift tour.
