Popular celebrity bar owner Pascal Okechukwu, also known as Cubana Chiefpriest, and Damini Ogulu, professionally known as Burna Boy, have been trending on social media following a heated exchange that began last night.
In a now-deleted post on Instagram, the Grammy award-winning artist, Burna Boy called out Cubana Chiefpriest, stating:
“No forget say u be Azaman o, and dem don gbe your plug wey him name na ‘Omo Igbo’ for ATL, and na u be next #OwerriRickyrozay.”
Additionally, Burna Boy shared a video featuring a man identifying himself as Cubana Chiefpriest’s brother, claiming to be a phone repairer and expressing hope that his brother’s generosity would eventually reach him. Burna Boy captioned the video:
“Your brother ga Azaman and owu dey blow am. Ne too pressure am abeg. Somebody find me this guy abeg I get $30k for him right now.”
In response, Cubana Chiefpriest fired back, referencing Burna Boy’s achievements:
“Diddy oil the fastest way to PTSD & you never see anything. You & your bend-down collect Grammy.”
This reply sparked speculation about a brewing feud between the two celebrities.
Cubana Chiefpriest later took to his Instagram Story to share more details and receipts, adding:
“Owerri Rick Ross, what a blessing! See where dem dey rate me put. Me & Rosay #CpNosmall. In 2018, na 1 million Naira I pay you to perform as a backup artist for my birthday. I get pictures and videos where you dey perform for me. I go lie for you? We don dey chop this money before you meet us for queue. Be humble, small boy.”
He continued with another post, seemingly addressing Burna Boy:
“Thank God for Snapchat throwbacks. Na water. I dey on my own, you find me come. When I wake up, make I continue. Na by force to do friendship? I stay with the real only.”
“I chose someone from a rich home but real and humble,” he revealed, referring to a yet-to-be-named individual.
The ongoing exchange has left fans divided, with many waiting to see if Burna Boy will respond further or if the feud will escalate.
