Arsenal and England star Bukayo Saka has reportedly engaged to his longtime girlfriend, Tolami Benson, after a lavish private proposal in London.
The 24-year-old footballer is said to have gone all out to create a romantic evening, complete with an extravagant setting and a strikingly large engagement ring.
The couple, who have been together since around 2020, have mostly kept their relationship private.
However, their romance became more visible during the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar, where Benson was seen supporting Saka in the stands.
According to reports from several UK outlets, the proposal took place at a luxury hotel in London, with insiders describing the moment as intimate and emotional.
Benson, a media professional with a degree in Public Relations and Media from Birmingham City University, reportedly said “yes” to the surprise proposal, leaving friends and fans thrilled.
While the couple has yet to make an official statement, the engagement news has dominated social media, with fans praising the football star not only for his performances on the pitch but also for the significant personal milestone.
The engagement marks a new chapter for Saka, who remains a key figure in Arsenal’s title chase and a central part of Gareth Southgate’s England squad.
